I love Sundays (Post 2)

Hello there again!

Its the 18th of January of the promising year of 2009. The best day of the week, which is Sunday! A Sunday is slightly different than a Saturday, besides having different names, because its the day before Mondays. A boring start of a week. Like the calm before the boring storm.

This morning, I ate some homemade burger for breakfast. After breakfast, I went down to the nearby store to buy "some" rice. My mum wanted to stock up on rice, since the price of rice is rising steadily. Who knows how high the price of rice could be in the future. I was at the rice section of the store and saw many different brands and types of rice. Thai rice, Jasmine rice, Basmati rice, fragrant rice and many more. I chose to buy the "Royal Umbrella Fragrant Rice" brand. There was also another brand of rice which was vacuum-packed. Curious as it looks, the salesman told me the vacuum-packed rice lasts much longer if you do no open up the packaging and let air in.

I didn't care. I ignored him and bought 20 kilograms of Royal Umbrella Fragrant Rice in handy 5 kilograms plastic packaging. Lucky for my a brought a little cart which I used to drag the heavy rice back home. On the way home, I stopped by a drink stall. I bought some lychee-flavoured, ice-blended bubble tea. A little known fact about bubble tea. Originating from Taiwan, bubble tea or "Boba" tea is a tea beverage containing the gelatinous tapioca pearls. The word "bubble" refers to "bubbling", the process by which certain types of bubble tea are made, and not the actual tapioca pearls.

Back at home I am enjoying the remaining few hours before Monday comes. Playing some games and watching some movies at home.

Here's a HILARIOUS video of Jeff Dunham, a ventriloquist with his characters, Peanut, a wacky weirdo and Jose Jalapeno on a Stick a mexican veggie.. Watch It!!

tata!
