We're counting on you..(Post 4)

Hey there everybody!

A historic moment in history has been historically made.

Barack Obama has finally been sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America. An estimate of an overwhelming 1.8 million Americans headed to the National Mall in Washington D.C. to watch history in the making. As I watched the re-telecast of the inauguration of President Obama on CNN, I was amazed at the huge amount of supporters braving the cold to watch as their new leader brings them to a new era of peace and hope. Millions more around the world will be tuning in to the radio, television and the internet to listen, watch or read about the inauguration, respectively.

To many people all around the world, Barack Obama seems to be their new beacon of hope. They hope he would be able to solve our problems, our dilemmas and our crisis. Many from the younger generations are also looking up to him, hoping he have the solution to everything.

Well, if you have any doubts, its too late by now. Americans have voted him to be their new leader. They have also voted for him to be, most probably, the most powerful man in the world. Now that the campaign is over. The Oath of Office taken. The whole world will scrutinise Obama's every move to see if he can deliver a much better job of leading the nation.

No pressure..
"I stand here today as hopeful as ever that the United States of America will endure, that it will prevail, that the dream of our founders will live on in our time."
Barack Obama, At the Lincolm Memorial concert on National Mall.
